Coming to work was fun. After leaving hard days at my full time employment coming to the Y was a safe haven. It is a place I look forward to going to each day. The task that were given at times small but I believe they still did a lot to the organization because I helped my mentor feel less pressure and less stress because she knew that she did not have to worry about little things because I had control over it. Got to the point where she did not always have to tell me what to do and I informed her what I was going to do and she would say ok and if she had anything else than she would let me know. During this span we were getting ready for our CARA Road Scholars meeting because their were complications with the first one and also were getting ready for Healthy Kids Day

April 24 was the meeting for our CARA program. It turned out well we had two actual students to come to the meeting but 7 in total that received packets because the other 5 could not be at the meeting due to schedule conflicts. They seemed truly interested in the program and On May 1 we are holding a Pace test to set the groups they will run in. So it will be interesting to see just how many will dedica
